1
You wake up to another day of work while you wait for the mirror to be repaired. Loki thinks this large order of Dwarven armor suggests the realms will soon be in peril. Thane Regin arrives to take you to your tasks.
2
Regin has nearly repaired the mirror, but he needs a special material, which you will fetch for him. You'll go to Skornheim to find a perfect amethyst crystal. He's fixed your magical raft so you can get there.
3
You can power the raft with your free-form run – five minutes should be enough. Skornheim is a dangerous place. You're approached by a scourge vulture, but Loki scares it off... for now.
4
Thor has scattered the flock of vultures, and points out some of the sights. Don't lose focus though, or you'll fall into the Forest of Eternal Nightmare Plants!
5
You land and Loki points out the cavern entrance. You'll have to be careful as you cross the sands. Use your training to cross the distance.
6
A few more seconds to go!
7
Loki thinks there's something beneath the sand.
8
Loki is not helping with his pessimism.
9
The ground has gone soft. Pull your feet up!
10
Back on solid ground.
11
The ground is moving again.
12
Hopefully you're getting further from whatever is beneath the sand.
13
Loki and Thor are wary of how quiet it is.
14
Test the ground as you step.
15
Loki finds a sinkhole. Run for him!
16
The sand-beast has grabbed Loki's leg!
17
You grab Loki's arm and begin to pull him away.
18
Loki is covered in beast drool.
19
Despite everything, Loki is still complaining.
20
Loki is freed, but you need to run!
21
Loki is limping but he can still run.
22
Loki is surprised Thor tries to save him from falling into a trap.
23
The sand is getting more like water. Don't make it worse.
24
Aim for the bits of solid stone.
25
The sand-beast emerges and it looks angry!
26
The cavern entrance should be too small for the beast.
27
If you run, you'll end up stuck in the mire.
28
You're nearly at the entrance. Loki stabs the sand-beast.
29
Get yourself out of the mire!
30
You're back on solid ground and the beast can't fit through the cavern entrance after you. Every surface seems made from crystal. Loki notices that where you walk, the crystal reflections begin to line up. Keep moving.
31
The crystal you need is not a common one, and Loki hopes it isn't an impossible task. You encounter a troll cave, and Loki tells you to run. If you fight, you might destroy what you're looking for.
32
The caves stretch for miles. You'll need to stop eventually but without the crystal, you'll be trapped here forever. Give Loki a few minutes more.
33
You hear an underground river and Loki has an idea. Thor releases the water on the trolls, but now you have to escape the flood.
34
Loki finds a pure crystal. The cave you've found is at a confluence of ley lines, but these ley lines should not be here. Something is very wrong. The trolls begin to pursue you again and they've brought a dragon with them!
35
You are nearly at the entrance. Loki taunts the dragon as you duck outside and its acid breath melts the sand into solid rock. The dragon is still chasing you.
36
Start running to power the raft. The dragon can't fly, thankfully, and you turn towards the village. Loki says that you need to go to Vanaheim to investigate the problem with the ley lines.
37
You arrive at the village and give Regin the crystal. Loki will have to keep working while the mirror is repaired, but you get to rest.
