You and Jody are heading to Beeston with Janine, and need to get there quickly before a storm moves in. Abel is in poor spirits since rationing was introduced, and it's only a couple of weeks since the previous Runner five was killed. There's a few shamblers out but you should be able to lose them.

Some cameras have been lost over the winter but you look good. Janine demands your secrecy and admits that Abel's reserves are nearly exhausted – there's food and water for another fortnight, and fuel for a week at most. You need a reliable fuel supply.

Situation Report

The road ahead is full of cars containing bodies... and zombies. Beeston was quarantined by the army at the start of the outbreak, and you see evidence in the form of bullet holes. Janine sends Jody to scout and you switch off your headset to talk to Janine privately. Abel's situation is dire. Janine knows of your less than savoury past and thinks it might come in useful if Abel is to survive. There's a horde heading towards you. Head for the coast road!

The horde is still after you and Sam says he isn't getting visuals further up the road. Jody wonders what happened to all the ships and submarines that must have been out there on Z-day, and worries about the people they've had to turn away recently. Sam tells you that there's a group of bikers heading towards Beeston and they're drawing the zoms. They might be after the fuel depot!

You see the fuel depot, but the bikers are there siphoning the fuel. You need to get a closer look!

The gang has taken the fuel, and Janine despairs. To make things worse, the storm is rolling in and the horde is getting closer. You find a single can of fuel thought. Better than nothing.

With Abel running out of fuel, you head to a nearby town to replenish your supplies. But there's a storm coming in, and you aren't the only ones on the road.

You've arrived at New Canton for your most important mission yet – Amelia and Zoe's wedding. Sam reminisces about times past and what he would do if he could go back in time, what he would tell his past self. But you need to hurry and deliver the bouquets to the bridesmaids.

Zoe looks fantastic in her suit. Slava bursts in to bring Zoe a wedding gift – locations of all of Valmont's bases across the world. Tell Amelia that her rates are very reasonable. Next up, delivering a copy of the vows to Jamie who is officiating the wedding.

You find Jamie in the chapel along with Mo, who is staying in the UK as the Maghreb ambassador – his family will be joining him here to strengthen bonds between the nations.

You enter the rec room just in time to hear Jody proclaim Janine and Peter married! Janine had decided that Amelia's wedding would be the perfect cover to avoid fuss around it, and she wants you to sign the register. But you'd better hurry so Amelia's event isn't delayed.

You arrive at the church and Paula and Maxine need to go and get settled while you make sure that Phil has the rings. Paula is considering gluing herself and Maxine together, in lieu of a wedding. Besides, it's good that Amelia gets to give Valmont one final middle finger.

Phil and Zoe are waiting for you, although Zoe is having a bit of a panic. Is she making a mistake? You reassure her, because Amelia does make her happy. After all, she's the closest thing to a cat in human form.

Amelia is glad you arrived... finally. She even allows Sam a brief hug. She does have one more thing before the ceremony. A message arrived from two people called Alexander and Vivek talking about trees and seeds, and that they're looking for someone called 'Moonchild'. You can deal with that later.. Now it's really time for the wedding. Everyone is gathered. Let's get this show on the road!

You've survived evil scientists, power-hungry billionaires, and, of course, zombies, but now its time for your most important mission yet... You'd better get to the church on time.

Zoe thanks you and Sam for going after Amelia. Valmont must have snuck into New Canton while New Canton's troops were helping Abel, but Zoe had given Amelia a gift of a necklace... with an emergency radio beacon in it.

You're at Brackenridge, a stately home, and Zoe's signal vanishes – Valmont must be blocking it. You can pick up Amelia's signal though, and hear her and Valmont talking. Valmont insists that no-one is coming to rescue her, and you need to prove him wrong.

Valmont goes on and on about being an amazing puppetmaster, manipulating everyone, but you've beaten every single one of them, so he can't be that good either. You enter the house and spot some of the monster dogs. They're still under his control, but Sam notices that they seem to have been mistreated.

You hear Valmont again as he tries to persuade Amelia to go with him. She tells him she'd rather be dead than his. An arrow appears on a screen, and Sam realises that it must be ANNIE. Go left!

The Continental

Another arrow to follow, and the fire sprinklers turn on, which drives the dogs away briefly. You arrive in the hangar where Valmont's jet is. You'll need to sneak through and... you're out of time. Run!

Amelia has spotted you, but she's not showing it, and is keeping Valmont distracted. You jump him and Amelia gets hold of his gun. She wants to shoot him, but Sam points out that would always make her the star of his story. She tells you to take him away, but the hellhounds break into the hangar and rip him apart. Unfortunately, his death has triggered the building to collapse. Get out of there!

The house has collapsed, and the anti-Green Type tone has killed the fungus in the dogs too – they seem quite friendly now. Zoe is able to contact you again and is relieved that Valmont is gone. And something even more urgent has come up – Amelia has to clean up her country and finally have her wedding!

Rescued Amelia and defeated Valmont once and for all! They're good dogs, Brent.

The Green Types have been destroyed, but it's not over yet. You've got one more run ahead of you, Five, into the belly of the beast.

You're approaching Abel, Ranger Five, and meet up with Janine. Amelia's troops have had to retreat from the Green Type splinters. You need to get into Abel to use the transmitter, and it's unlikely they got ANNIE's cure. Amelia demands one favour... stop the horde before it destroys Abel. Don't leave her alone with Valmont.

You reach the gates and are confronted by Jody and soldiers – they've been told to kill you, then lay down their lives. Green Types burst from the ground, and Jody manages to overcome Valmont's brainwashing. She lets you in, but more Green Types are coming. She tells you to get to the new town hall – it has concrete foundations so should hold them off a bit longer.

The Green Types have broken into Abel. Jody has ordered everyone to high ground but the last batch of cure is only just kicking in and they're still shaky. Janine sends you to the arcade with the neon sign, while Jody and Janine head towards the farmhouse.

The Green Type slime is climbing up the buildings. You reach the arcade and get inside to turn all of the machines on – hopefully the noise will draw the Green Types over. You throw one through the wall, and head towards the generators.

You pull over the petrol generators to slow down the Green Types while Jody lights an arrow. Janine reassures her about what happened, and expresses her faith in Jody's abilities. Jody shoots and sets the petrol alight. The generators begin to explode, catching the Green Types in the blast. Run!

You've got a clear path to the comm shack, but you're chased by a Green Type... even when it's torn to pieces. There's another wave coming. Move!

Abel is being torn apart! The Green Types bury you, and the slime is climbing up the roof of the building Janine and Jody are on. There's an explosion, and you are reinforced by Mo and the Rangers freed from Tabarca! With a squadron from Maghreb guarding the rear, sent by Maryam. You free yourself from the Green Types and enter the comms shack, plug in the tone box, and set everything to maximum. You activate it, but the comms tower is sparking. Get out of there!

The Green Types are melting in response to the signal, and your Rangers are all alive, though Abel may need some rebuilding. Valmont breaks into your comms to taunt Janine, and then Zoe arrives. Amelia is gone, and Valmont took her. Only Sam and Runner Five are in the area. Please save her!

Destroyed the Green Types, but the race isn't over yet. Valmont has Amelia, and we need to stop him!

With the tone device in hand, you make it to Abel. But there are Green Types on the way, and the inhabitants seem less than friendly...

These Walls We Built

You've arrived back in the UK with Maxine and, along with Ernie, you're approaching the house of Ernest Van Ark. Maxine isn't happy about trusting Ernie, but right now Valmont is the bigger problem. Valmont is controlling the Green Types with tones, and he probably stole that idea from Van Ark. You create a zip line over the gorge and approach the house where Slava meets you. She is looking for the same thing you are, but she doesn't trust and she will shoot if she has to.

The house is prompting Ernie's memories of Van Ark. Valmont speaks to you through Van Ark's surveillance system. He's sending Green Types to the house. He tells Slava that if she kills you, he'll spare her. She's keeping her options open.

There are a couple of Van Ark's fast zoms left in the house and Valmont is calling them with the tones. Get moving!

Ernie leads you to a false wall in the library which leads to a vault door. It accepts Ernie's handprint but declares his voice print insufficient. You have thirty seconds before the floor is doused in acid, and the Green Types and fast zoms are rapidly approaching. Slava shoots Ernie's arm which gets him angry, which is apparently the key to opening the vault. You grab a tone box and attempt to use it against the zoms, but it doesn't seem to work. Head up to the roof!

Ernie thinks the tone box requires an amplifier, and Maxine thinks you can use the comms shack at Abel since Amelia had it linked to every repeater station in the country. Valmont tries to sweet-talk Slava, but she is being her own boss now. She's leaving, and taking some of the stuff from the house as payment. Don't follow her.

You're on a turret roof and Ranger Five is on the other side of the gorge. You strap the tone box to a drone and send it over. It won't take the Green Types long to climb this high so you have to trust your friends to move quickly.

Recovered Van Ark's tone box and now all we can do is trust our friends to save Abel.

With calamity heading towards Abel, you need a solution fast. And that may involve a trip down memory lane.

The walls are closing in and ANNIE is being absorbed into the local hardware while Valmont gloats. ANNIE's attempts to free herself overload a computer panel in the wall and allow fresh air in. You realise the wall isn't wood – it's fungus, and it's trying to repair itself. ANNIE has located the manufacturing plant and she thinks she can still destroy Valmont's hold, but you'll have to escape his soldiers.

ANNIE says she's having to rewrite herself to function within the arcology, because most of it is organic. Ernie suggests that the arcology was built so quickly because it's made of fungus, and a large enough fungal colony would have potential as a living computer. ANNIE says that the building is experiencing pain – she recognises its impulses and she will not let it win. She can't control it for long so move quickly.

You enter the lab complex and find it full of caged Green Types being experimented upon. Valmont speaks to you over the intercom and says he's planning to weaponise these zombies. Ernie recognises the noises playing and has to check something. Valmont releases the Green Types which rip apart the researchers and integrate their body parts. ANNIE seems to be being overwhelmed by Valmont's system.

You've reached the factory level where he's manufacturing items from the fungus. And he's done all of this to get Amelia back. He can give her the world! ANNIE says she has predicted nothing but ruin from this, but Valmont does not care. The Green Types are smashing the machines and integrating them too.

You've found the right part of the factory and you reboot it, allowing ANNIE to take temporary control. This hub links to every Valmont facility and every ANNIE. She can take control of the entire network! Valmont starts to roll back her code and destroy her. ANNIE says it will take time and she will send the cure. Leave now. She will install onto a hard drive for you to take.

You've reached a garden at the bottom of the arcology. ANNIE admits that she cannot transfer but knows you wouldn't leave if she had told you. She has spent her existence adoring Valmont but now you've given her the opportunity to hate him and she is going to destroy him. Valmont releases the green gunk in a wave towards you. Run to the exit.

You've escaped, but the arcology is in bad condition, and the workers have merged into a zomglomerate. Valmont says he's sending the Green Types to Abel. Ernie returns and he knows how Valmont is using them. And his blockade and comms jamming is down! You hear a message from Maxine – they've returned to England and will fight with you!

You're approaching the Arcology with the ANNIE pack. Getting inside will be dangerous, but it's the only place where ANNIE might be able to synthesise a cure, and New Canton is almost out of fresh water. Slava claimed there was a blind spot between the turrets, but it will pass quickly. Run!

Your only way in is through a pipe and you'll need to put on your hazmat suits. You get into the sewer network, but the slime is eating through your boots. You need to get out quickly.

The inside of the arcology is very fancy... and extremely capitalistic. ANNIE detects no signs of other versions of her. The people manning the stalls look extremely stressed, and a tannoy says something about the consequences of not meeting sales targets. You need to go before you're recognised.

There are more shops as well as a camera crew making people look less exhausted. You hear another announcement for an ANNIE II personal organiser in watch form, but ANNIE says it is not intelligent. The photography team take notice so try getting into the executive area.

You enter a new area and find yourself above pens of green-type zombies, and Valmont is there, feeding people to them if they've failed him. Unfortunately, he knows you're there and the guards are after you.

You enter the garden and it's as soulless as everything else about Valmont. There are businessmen walking dogs with glowing eyes, like the ones you saw at Abel. ANNIE confirms that they have been altered with the fungus. Everyone in the arcology is after you now, but ANNIE might be able to override security.

You reach the office and plug ANNIE in, but something has gone wrong and now you can't unplug her. The door is also gone! Valmont pumps in gas and there's no way out...
