Red Sector

You're at Los Diablos with Bruce, who needs thirty minutes in his lab to get some tests done. Hopefully Betty can keep her father occupied. You've got a deep fake of General Ross which will hopefully get you through.

You reach the secure entrance where the guard insists on speaking to general Ross to get clearance. The deep fake seems to convince him, and you are allowed to proceed.

You aren't quite safe yet – the security cameras won't be fooled by a deep fake. At least once you get to the lab, the cameras won't be a problem. Betty contacts you saying that her father is asking so many questions, as though she's in an interrogation. Be quick. The camera sensors take a few seconds to adjust when the lights come on, so when he hits the switch... run.

You made it! You step into the test chamber and Bruce calibrates the detector array. Then he instructs you to climb on the treadmill, since you know that the effects of Gamma exposure are more pronounced when you're under stress.

Bruce saysthat the waste you found came from the base and there must be a paper trail. He's startled at some of the readings, like your body is giving off an energy field which is drawing more power. The base will notice it if you don't do something. You need to hit the emergency shutdown!

Betty calls to tell you that her father is on his way – you need to fix it! Bruce thinks that if you get clear you should stop the reaction. Leave through the emergency exit and meet at the car.

It's working! Over the radio you hear Bruce speaking to the guard, making it seem like the base hasn't been taking care of the equipment, which is what caused the power surge. But for now, you should meet back up and head into town.
