Something Old, Something New

You're at the wedding of Claire and Amira. The maid of honour introduces herself to you as Vera and tells you the wedding is stuck in a time loop. You just dropped a vase you've always caught before and it makes her think you're aware of the loop with her now. The loop resets as the brides leave the ceremony.

Vera assures you she's not joking by showing she can predict what the guests will do next. Like clockwork the ring-bearer, a corgi named Pumpkin, slips his leash and makes off with the rings. Quick, catch him!

You catch Pumpkin! Vera has never managed it and now it seems the wedding is progressing differently than before. The rings belonged to Vera and Claire's grandmother and Vera wonders whether fetching "something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue" will break the time loop. She hasn't been a very good maid of honour and forgot to arrange those things for Claire.

The "something new" Vera meant to arrange was some engraved champagne flutes, but she messed up the postage and they're out for delivery today! If you're quick you might catch the van. On the way you stumble upon Vera's cousin Henry who has snuck out to smoke. Vera ropes him into helping.

Vera gets Henry to track the delivery van on his phone. As Vera and Henry bicker, the van whizzes by.

You and Vera are back at the start of the loop. On your way out to the road you grab Henry again. Short for time, Vera takes a risk and jumps into the road to stop the van...

... You're back at the start of the loop – the van didn't stop. This time Vera grabs a tablecloth along with Henry. She's got a plan to block the road!

It works! The van stops at the tablecloth stretched out across the road and Vera attempts to persuade the driver to give her the parcel. You and Henry sneak into the back of the van and find the parcel as Vera and the driver argue. Back to the wedding with your "something new" – quickly!
