You can see a storm approaching the island as you wait for Shona's attack. Sam says that she'll probably be coming straight from Shipwreck Cove with her V-types. Paula says that Janine doesn't have much time left, but she's giving tactical help on the Undaunted. If they can't stop the attack, Amelia will destroy the island. Jody says that Shona will get past the Undaunted, and she can feel Shona gloating in her mind. Sam points out that they can hopefully stop this by performing the King of the Rocks ceremony. Jody is willing to try but says she has an arrow with Shona's name on it. Tom would have understood her need for revenge. Sam says that he's holed up and they have all of Dearg's research on hand. All you can do now is reach the cave for the ceremony.
2
You reach the cave where the ceremony starts and spot the seed pods on the ceiling. The ancient islanders would light fires to draw the seed pods out, but Morag points out that the pods weren't there every year. Frances interrupts, suggesting that maybe the fruit thrown into the sea was originally the seed pods. However, without the full Edda it's impossible to be sure how much has been distorted over time. The only clue you have is from the fragment of the Edda that Tom had managed to take, talking about the blessings of the silver rain. Sam patches in audio from the Undaunted. Janine tells you that the V-types are coming, and one of them has managed to get onto the ship and they're under attack. Sam loses signal and tells you that he can't see the Undaunted anymore. You'll need to run to the rockpools for the next part of the ceremony.
3
You arrive at the rockpools with the a gale blowing. Paula spots silver glistening in the pools. The silver mud must have been dredged up from the caves by the storm. Before you can figure out how it will help, Sam tells you that there are V-types approoaching. Morag points out that there's a boat approaching. It must be the Skincoats! But Shona is missing, and you need to head inland.
4
You reach the boulder at Reesride, where Morag says the cèilidh normally takes place. Paula tells you that in small doses, the red fungus is beneficial. It's only when it's overgrown that it's a problem. Frances says that if the pods are thrown into the sea at the correct time, they'd stay local, but Jones had triggered them early with his campfire, which is why it ended up on the mainland. The skincoats arrive, and Duncan tells you to give up. Jody guides you into the woods and away from the villagers following the skincoats. Frances tells you that the fungus is fragile - without the exact soil composition found on the islands, it needs a host, so it will need to turn you into zombies to spread. The skincoats cut you off from the boulder, but Sam directs you to a nearby cave to escape.
5
You need to be careful to avoid the blowholes in the cave. Seeing the geysers makes Frances realise what they're supposed to do. They suck the silver mud off the sea floor, and blow it into the storm, which would make it fall as the silver rain mentioned in the Edda. This would wipe out the fungus, while the islanders would save a few seeds. Sam realises that the Three Kings blowholes must be the ones they originally used. But one is blocked by a rockslide, and another by a museum. The last is by East Loch, and Jody says that the Skincoats must be trying to block it. You need to hurry!
6
You reach the geyser, but it's guarded by Skincoats and their acolytes. Morag recognises a couple of them and berates them but they run away. You spot a huge boulder being pushed by V-type zombies. They're trying to block the geyser with it and you're in its path!
7
You escape the boulder, but it blocks the geyser and there are too many V-type zombies around it to get close, even if you had enough people to move the boulder. Amelia contacts you, saying that most of the crew turned into V-types, they had to evacuate the ship, and Janine is unconscious. You hear an explosion and realise that it's the Undaunted. Amelia tells you that the captain stayed behind to scuttle the ship. Shona contacts you using Tom's headset and gloats that there is nothing you can do now. The entire island is undercut with red fungus. The island is now hers. It is the Dawn of the Red God.
