Last Night

You wake up in a hotel in New Agadir to the sound of the call to prayer. Sam doesn't remember how you got there. He gets up to go to the bathroom and finds a zombie in the shower. You'd better lead it out of the hotel.

You leave the hotel and enter the souk, but there are people everywhere! You grab a hard drive from a market stall and throw it at the zom. It destroys the zombie, but also the merchandise, and the shopkeeper isn't happy. The shopkeeper calls the guards, who seem to recognise you. Better get running!

You end up in the livestock market where you meet Maryam. She seems to know you. Amelia sent her to rendezvous with you outside the walls. She's a doctor – there to take Maxine's place on the mission. She found you in a refreshment booth outside the walls. Mo explained you would be forced to surrender Veronica to the guards. You realised that the tea you were drinking was a fast-acting drug. Sam explained the McShell manoeuvre to everyone with the help of some goats.

You remember that explaining the McShell manoeuvre with goats did not go well. And once you crossed the border, Maryam went looking for more goats to try again. Sam hopes that someone managed to smuggle Veronica over the border, but you'd better check that you didn't leave her behind while intoxicated by the tea.

You reach the border where the guards are selling contraband goods, although Skull-Kicker usually keeps the best tech. Frances finds you, recognises Maryam, and explains more about what happened last night. Mo thought that the guards now saw you as troublemakers, so you needed to buy the most conspicuous piece of contraband to carry over the border to throw them off. Frances and Maryam went to fetch something.

Frances and Maryam found a dessicated zombie that must have dried up in the salt flats, but then accidentally crossed the border while the guards were distracted. Sam asks if Frances had put the zombie in the shower, but she can't remember. Maryam spots Veronica's briefcase being carried by someone and you chase after them.

You catch up with the man with the briefcase who refuses to sell it back to you. You grab it, but Veronica isn't inside. Unfortunately, the guards have also spotted you and you're wanted for several crimes!
