Take Me Home, Country Roads

You arrive on the shore of the UK to assess the situation for Amelia. You have ANNIE's mobile unit and hopefully you will find a compatible mainframe for her soon. Home awaits.

Janine has not heard from Abel, but you are met by Jody. She points out Valmont blimps moving materials into the country to fortify places, and a weird thing he's building north of Abel.

You hide from a blimp and Jody explains the Valmont murals , and the statues – people were sick, what choice did they have? Jody said they heard the plague was made by Valmont, but that announcement came from Amelia and who trusts her? You spot some of the labourers, infected by the virus, and hide from them.

There are searchlights ahead and you run to evade them. The woods ahead should help you lose them.

You reach Abel and Janine notices a few changes to the grounds. You're welcomed in and Jody orders the gates shut because of zoms, but there were none chasing you. Janine orders you back under the gate and Jody tells people to get after you or Valmont will be upset.

Janine had hoped she was wrong, but she had noticed the razed orchard with V-shaped landing marks in the area. She doesn't know what has happened to the people of Abel, but you need a plan. There's a blockade ahead, but you're given unexpected backup in the form of King Jamie and his roller derby guard, now using motorised chariots. You can catch up when you're safe.

Jamie explains the situation. Valmont swooped in when the plague hit and took over. There are two cures he offered – one which turns people into worker zombies, the other makes people become desperate to please Valmont. Jody is a wily opponent, trained by Janine herself, so you need to do things Jamie's way.

Jamie's boat has been destroyed. Janine tells him to leave with his people – that he received their message at all means the trap was for him as well as Janine and Five. Valmont having Jamie under his control would be a propaganda coup. Jody speaks over a megaphone. She calls you deserters and will hunt you down.
