1
There are no stairs in this building, just a spiral walkway, and a lot of zombies milling around. You need to find a terminal for ANNIE, but each department seems to have had their own version. Amelia suggests you try the biochemistry department on floor 23.
2
Everything is made out of glass – Amelia says that Valmont likes people to feel watched. You plug ANNIE into the terminal and she takes control of the security cameras. She says she's only partly instantiated here and needs more local selves to restore function. If you want her to dispose of the zoms, restore her weapons systems on floor 27.
3
Floor 27 seems to be the art history department. ANNIE says that a last stand was made here, so her combat proficiencies were channeled to this version of her. Her weapons systems come online and she barely misses hitting Five. This is not a nice version of her. Run!
4
The zoms have heard the gunfire and are heading up. Zoe suggests heading to the psychotherapy department and see if the ANNIE there can help her reintegrate.
5
You switch on ANNIE who says that there are too many of her, and then tries to analyse Zoe about her relationship with Amelia. Sam points out nozzles emerging from the walls to release tranquilliser gas... or possibly nerve agent. She isn't entirely in control. She demands that Amelia explain why she was with Valmont. Amelia explains that she thought she'd found a kindred spirit in him. ANNIE is disappointed, and the gas begins to release.
6
Zoe demands to know why Amelia didn't just stay with Valmont. She explains that there was a heist – stealing a unique vase from the V&A. When they realised they couldn't steal it, Valmont smashed the vase. If he couldn't have it, then no-one could. Amelia realised that one day he'd do the same to her. He did that to ANNIE. There are more turrets in here, but ANNIE tells you to go to the history department. He cut part of her away after a minor dispute.
7
You hook ANNIE up, and Amelia says that Valmont breaks people because it's the only way to make them love him. She doesn't need to. ANNIE says she can get rid of the zoms here, and she has more data now to help with creating a cure. Valmont merged samples of Red God with a rare slime mould and conditioned the resulting fungus to adore him. She'll need a sample of the mould to study, and the only place she knows to get one is the Project Greenshoot labs beneath Abel Towenship.
