Be Sure Your Sins

Sam’s your operator today and the mission is going to be an emotional one: a return to the burned-out ruins of your former home, Abel Township.

From a distance, Abel doesn’t look too bad, but when you’re closer, you see the devastation. You’re there to recover the radio codes of missing runners – Sam hopes you won’t have to stay long.

As you enter Abel, Sam reminisces about the old days. But today, a zombie has appeared. You need to run to Sam’s old radio shack and complete the mission asap.

At the shack, Sam is melancholy when he sees his melted stash of Curly Wurlies under his old desk. Codes in hand, you’re ready to leave, but your path in is now inexplicably blocked. You’ll have to go the long way round.

The strange BBC radio presenter breaks into your broadcast. Sam thinks he first heard her shortly before the Resurgence. No time to linger, though: that same zombie is still in pursuit.

You’re out of Abel. Weirdly, the pursuing zombie stops at the town boundary. And then the BBC announcer returns – and this time she speaks directly to you.
