Paula is sending you to Blood Rock to fetch a gaming book for the RuneGaia community. As your boat docks, the fog rolls in. The hotel’s in the island’s centre and you want to reach it before night falls…

The hotel looks very creepy, made even worse when Paula spots a clown watching you from a top-floor window. She wants you to get in and out as quick as you can.

You pass hotel reception, causing Paula a pang of nostalgia about the conventions she used to attend with Maxine. Some zombies give chase – and a huge, frightening dog. Paula doesn’t want to believe that it might be undead.

The convention hall is infested with zoms, but you manage to pluck a signed copy of the book from under the undead author’s nose. The dog returns, and this time you realise it’s just cosplaying as a monster. But its noise attracts the zoms and you’re forced to flee.

The fog’s thick outside and zoms are all around – led by the sinister clown. The only route you can take is into the forest.

Paula’s lost her bearings and can’t find you a route from the forest to the dock. All seems lost – until a noise from the dog points you in the right direction.

All aboard the ferry as you and your canine saviour set sail for safety. The RuneGaia community are delighted you found the book, and Paula hopes that New Abel might host a game of its own.
